Helicase-like transcription factor (HLTF) has been identified as a tumor suppressor gene. The hypermethylation of HTLF is frequently observed in various types of cancer, including colorectal cancer (CRC). However, the mechanisms through which HLTF suppresses CRC progression remain unclear.
