摘要:
Drawing upon resource-based view and institutional theory, this study investigates how institutional pressures motivate the manufacturers to expand extent of Mobile Internet Channel Use (MICU) and how such effects are moderated by firm's capability. The results of a survey of 205 manufacturing firms indicate that three dimensions of institutional pressures (i.e., firms perceived mimetic, coercive and normative pressures) can promote their extent of MICU. In addition, firm's capability (i.e., technology competence and distributional capability) plays different roles in the relationships between these three dimensions of institutional pressures and extent of MICU. Both technology competence and distribution capabilities attenuate the impact of mimetic pressures on the extent of MICU, but enhances the influence of coercive on the extent of MICU. Technology competence can also enhance the positive effect of normative pressures on the extent of MICU.
