中西医结合的优势明显,但由于中医与西医的世界观、方法论有着根本性的不同,从而导致现阶段中医与西医的基本理论难以结合;但由于其各自的研究对象与研究目的的相同性,即治病救人,因此技术应用层次上是可以结合的,而且只有把中西医结合的焦点落实在解决临床实际问题上,取得临床疗效,才是有价值的、牢固的。

The integration of Chinese medicine (CM) and Western medicine (WM) has obvious advantages.
