Acanthopanax gracilistylus is traditionally used to treat bone pains, arthritis, and rheumatism by the rook bark. To evaluate the renoprotective effect of the acankoreagenin, from the leaves of Acanthopanax gracilistylus (LAG), glucose loaded and streptozotocin (STZ) induced diabetic rats.
