Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic joint disease characterized by progressive cartilage degeneration, which imposes a heavy physical and financial burden on the middle-aged and elderly population. As the pathogenesis of OA has not been fully elucidated, it is of great importance to develop targeted therapeutic or preventive medications.
