The suspensions of the second⁃passage Tp were collected and inoculated onto the dorsal skin of New Zealand rabbits. After 21⁃day infection, the New Zealandrabbitswereanesthetizedandsacrificed,bloodsampleswerecollected,andskintissuesatthe infection site as well as liver, spleen, testes and lymph nodes were aseptically resected. Real⁃time fluorescence⁃based quantitative PCR was performed to detect the spread of Tp in different tissues and organs.Results Onday21afterinfectionwithTp,skinlesionssuchasindurationsandulcerswereseenat allinoculatedsitesofNewZealandrabbits.Pathologicalexaminationshowedalotofinflammatorycellsin the infected lesions, mainly including plasma cells, macrophages and lymphocytes. 目的构建新西兰兔梅毒螺旋体感染体内扩散模型。方法新西兰兔睾丸内复苏梅毒螺旋体标准株(Nichols),并连续分离传代,收集第2代梅毒螺旋体菌株悬液接种于新西兰兔背部皮肤。感染21 d后麻醉处死新西兰兔,收集血液,无菌分离感染部位组织以及肝脏、脾脏、睾丸和淋巴结。荧光实时定量PCR检测各组织器官梅毒螺旋体扩散情况。结果新西兰兔梅毒螺旋体感染后第21天所有接种部位均出现皮肤损伤(硬结和溃疡),病理检查显示感染部位出现大量炎症细胞,主要包括浆细胞、巨噬细胞和淋巴细胞,实时定量PCR显示肝脏、脾脏、睾丸等组织器官存在大量梅毒螺旋体。结论新西兰兔背部皮肤接种梅毒螺旋体后能通过血液和淋巴...

Objective: To establish an in vivo diffusion model of Treponema pallidum (Tp) in New Zealand rabbits. Methods: A standard strain of Tp (Nichols strain) was recovered in the testes of New Zealand rabbits, and isolated and passaged continuously.
