在湖湘文化成为当代湖南重要的历史文化名片之后,由于文化认同和现实利益的需要,湖湘文化在湖南人的“想象”之中被“异化”,离其本质属性渐行渐远。因此,我们要以“文化自觉”来重新思考湖湘文化的现代转型,辨正湖湘文化的“区域性”特征,从对湖湘文化认知的“自知之明”建立对于湖湘文化的文化自信。
