李东垣是金元时期著名的医家,其所著《睥胃论》共三卷,主要讲述脾胃的虚实传导变化及其与其他脏腑经络之间的联系,并提出相应治法,集理、方、药于一体.其中论述了“脾为升降之枢纽,以升为主”的观点.味之薄者,诸风药是也,此助春夏升浮者,风能胜湿,故风药运用广博,但其性辛燥,易助热.脾虚亦水湿内停,至膀胱气化不利,宜淡渗利水,甘淡之品亦有不少,但利尿亦伤阳气,故又慎用.

Li Dongyuan was a famous doctor during the Jin and Yuan dynasties. His Piwei Lun is a three-volume book, which mainly describes the changes of the function and reality of spleen and stomach and its connection with other viscera channels and collaterals.
