For optimum detection of moderately fluctuating radar targets, an adaptive clutter suppression algorithm of band filtering based on fast subspace decomposition is presented in this paper. Owing to the adoption of the technique of fast subspace decomposition, the computational requirement of the algorithm is obviously decreased and is favorable to be implemented on real-time.
