A rapid and simple analysis method was investigated for determining the content of multi - trace metal element in edible vegetable oil. The contents of trace metal elements such as Mg,Al,K,Na,Ca, Fe,Cu,Zn,Sr and Mn in edible vegetable oil samples were determined using microwave plasma - atomic emission spectroscopy (MP - AES) after microwave assisted acid digestion.
