Context Hydroxysafflor yellow A (HSYA) is the main bioactive ingredient of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L., [Asteraceae]) for traumatic brain injury (TBI) treatment. Objective To explore the therapeutic effects and underlying mechanisms of HSYA on post-TBI neurogenesis and axon regeneration.
