成人高等教育的不断普及满足了人民群众再教育的需求，改善了我国国民学历结构，但在中医药成人高等教育的发展过程中，出现了教学模式过于单一、工学矛盾突出等一些新的问题，这些问题如不能得到很好的解决，将会制约中医药成人高等教育事业的进一步发展，因此，中医药成人高等教育的改革，已是当务之急。
