OBJECTIVE: To investigate the regulation of long non-coding RNA plasmacytoma variant translocation 1 (LncRNA PVT1) on proliferation, invasion, and aerobic glycolysis in glioma cells via miR-140-5p. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Sixty patients with glioma treated in our hospital were recruited. The expression of PVT1 in tissues and cells was determined by quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR), and the effects on the prognosis were observed.
