Metabolomics is applied to explore the curative effect of complex systems, such as Chinese medicine. Intrauterine adhesion (IUA) harms the reproductive system and affects fertility, and hence is a significant public health concern. Prunella vulgaris oil (PVO) protects the reproductive system and exerts anti-inflammatory effects, but its effect on IUA and the underlying mechanism is unclear.
