OBJECTIVE To observe the therapeutic effect of Muan ointment（目安眼膏）ONE and TWO on experimental herpes simplex keratitis（HSK）.METHODS The effected rabbits were divided 4 groups（five animals per treatment group randomly selected）for receiving Muan ointment ONE,Muan ointment TWO,ACV（3% Zovirax ophthalmic ointment）and matrix（placebo）respectively.All eyes were examined the severity of corneal epithelial involvement,conjunctivitis,iritis,and corneal clouding by slit-lamp biomicroscopy and electron microscopy for comparison.RESULTS Compar...
