AIM: To explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture (EA) at Sibai point in the excitement of gastric myoelectricity. METHODS: Thirty-two rats were randomly divided into group A, B, C and D. All the rats were electroacupunctured at Sibai Point. Meanwhile, the rats in group A, B, C and D were intraperitoneally injected with normal saline, atropine, hexamethonium and reserpine, respectively.
