本文初步总结了中医药院校图书馆科技查新工作的开展情况，结合中医药院校自身优势，论述了图书馆开展科技查新工作的特色及意义。最后，以湖南中医药大学图书馆科技查新实践为例，分析论述了中医药院校图书馆查新服务存在的问题，并对如何有效开展中医药院校查新工作进行了探讨。
