BACKGROUND: Hepatic ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury is a major complication of liver resection or transplantation. However, the mechanism underlying hepatic I/R injury remains obscure. The aim of the present study was to investigate the role of Chemokine-like factor 1 (CKLF1) in hepatic I/R injury.
