Objective: Clinical effects of electro-acupuncture at Shu and Mu acupoint on bidirectionally functional bowel disorders were observed in order to explore bidirectional adjustment mechanism. Methods: 66 patients (the constipation group of 36 cases, the diarrhea group of 36 cases) were selected and received electro-acupuncture for 16 times in total.
