Pyroptosis and necroptosis are closely associated with the mechanism underlying cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. The combination of astragaloside IV (AST IV) and Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) has remarkable effects on the alleviation of cerebral I/R damage.
