Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua polysaccharide (PCP) is the main bioactive compound derived from the herb Polygonati Rhizoma, known for its anti-fatigue, antioxidant, immunomodulatory, and anti-inflammatory properties. However, its effectiveness on alleviating chemotherapy-induced muscle atrophy has been unclear.
