Objective To investigate the effects of Taohong siwu decoction added salvia milti on proliferation and apoptosis of hepatic steUate cells and therapeutic effect of the decoction for hepatic fibrosis. Methods The decoction with different concentration added into hepatic stellate cells cultured in vitro for 48h, then assess proliferation and apoptosis of the cells by MTF. Result The decoction concentration of 0.4 mg/mL and 0.2 mg/mL could inhibit prolifeation of hepatic steuate cells and induce apoptosis of the cells.
