To investigate the role of miR-140/BCL2L2 axis on the formation of intracranial aneurysms. The expression of miR-140 in the serum of patients with intracranial aneurysms and healthy volunteers was detected. CCK-8 assay and Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining flow cytometry were used to evaluate the effect of miR-140 knockdown on the proliferation and apoptosis of human brain vascular smooth muscle cells (HBVSMCs).
