Sensitive detection of doxorubicin (DOX) is critical for clinical theranostics. A novel ratiometric fluorescence strategy based on the inner filter effect (IFE) has been established for the sensitive detection of DOX by designing a ratiometric fluorescence probe. In the presence of DOX, the fluorescence intensity of copper nanoclusters (CuNCs) at 485 nm decreases, and the fluorescence intensity of carbon dots at 560 nm increases. Therefore, DOX can be quantitatively detected by measuring the ratio of the fluorescence intensities at 560 and 485 ...
