ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Lower back pain (LBP) is a common and frequent clinical condition, and intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) is recognized as the leading cause of LBP, typically manifested by increased nucleus pulposus cell (NPC) senescence and death.
