Objective To prepare a kind of simple model suitable for the study of acupuncture on acute and in completely compressing paraplegia.Methods The model was prepared with the catheter-cyst method,which would cause vertebral canal stricture in the range of 50%～60% leading to compression on spinal cord.Affer 24 hours following compressing,the model with acute and incompletely compressing paraplegia would be successfully established when the function level of spinal cord was determined
