Invasiveness, resistance to treatment, and recurrence of gliomas are significant hurdles to successful treatment regimens. Data sets from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO), CGGA-RNAseq, and The Cancer Genome Atlas Glioblastoma Multiforme (TCGA-GBM) were analyzed, and an increased expression of Cytochrome B Reductase 1 (CYBRD1) was identified and could be associated with aggravated clinical outcomes. Gene ontology (GO) enrichment analysis indicated that CYBRD1 co-expressed genes are enriched during an immune response.
