Objective: To study the active constituents of Swertia davidi Franch. Methods: The raw compounds were isolated by using column chromatography with silica gel and sephadex LH-20. Their structures were confirmed by IR, MS, 1H and 13C-NMR and/or 1H-13C COSY. Results: Four compounds were elucidated as amarogentin, swertianolin, demethylbellidifollin and bellidifolin, respectively.
