OBJECTIVE: To study the pharmacokinetics and bioavailability of total puerariae flavones (TPF) bioadhesive sustained-release tablets in dogs. METHODS: Blood samples were obtained at 0, 0.25, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 7.0, 9.0, 12 h after a single dose of 600 mg TPF tablets and TPF bioadhesive sustained-release of tablets, puerarin concentration was determined by HPLC.
