文章介绍了近代湖南创办的各类中医学校的历史沿革,包括办学宗旨、创建过程、招生规模、课程设置、毕业去向、消亡原因等。初步总结了近代湖南人依靠自身力量振兴中医教育以及中医学为主、兼顾西医、注重临床实践的教学理念。
