Objective: To explore the action of Zishengqingyang Tablet(滋生青阳片) on lowering blood pressure(BP)and reversing left ventricle hypertrophy of essential hypertension .Methods: 60 patients,whose Syndrome Differentiation Typing(SDT) was Yin Deficiency and Yang Hyperactivity,the Deficiency of Heart Qi with Dizziness Caused by Wind accompanied cardiac hypertrophy(essential hypertension left ventricle hypertroplhy).The patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,each group with 30 patients.4 months was one course of treatment.Before and after the therapy,the levels of BP,left ventricle structure assessed by echocardiography.Results:After treating,the levels of blood pressure,left ventricle structure in the treatment group and the control group were marked descent,the two groups have no difference in lowering blood pressure(BP) and reversing left ventricle hypertrophy of essential hypertension.Conclusion:The action of Zishengqingyang Tablet and Captoprii for lowering blood pressure(BP)and reversing left eventricle hypertrophy of essential hypertension is alike.

Objective:To investigate the experimental effects of Nourishing Yin and Suppressing the Hyperactive Liver (ZYPG) and Zishengqingyang Tablet (滋生青阳片,ZSQY) for lowering blood pressure and reversing left ventricle hypertrophy (LVH).Methods:24 spontaneously hypertension rats (SHR) were randomly divided into four group:the ZYPG treating group (ZYPGG),the Captopril treating group (CapG),the blank group (BG),the model group (MG).6 Wister rats was divided into normal group (NG).After each group was measured parameters,MG and NG were counted,other groups were observed 3 months.Rats systolic blood pressure(SBP),body weight (BW),left ventricle weight (LVM),LVM/BW,cardiac muscle collagen content (JY) and collagen concentration (JYC),serum procollagen type Ⅲamino terminal peptide (P ⅢNP) and the levels of hyaluronidase (HA) were measured.Results:There were significant differences in the SBP,LVM,LVM/BW,JY,JYC,PⅢNP and HA between the MG and NG.The levels of SBP,LVM,LVM/BW in ZYPGG and CapG were much lower than that in BG.Compared with the ZYPGG and the CapG,The effect of lowering SBP in the ZYPGG was slowly and warmly.PⅢNP,JY,JYC,HA,in ZYPGG and CapG were all significant lower than that of BG.The difference was significant in JYC,PⅢNP,HA when compared with ZYPGG and CapG.Conclusion:ZYPG (ZSQY) can effectively and warmly lower the blood pressure of SHR and lower their cardiac muscle collagen content so as to reverse LVH.The result also shows ZYPG (ZSQY) has the better effects in improve myocardial fibrosis.
