土家族医学发展历史悠久,由于其没有自己的文字,所以历代以口授的形式进行传承,直到引入汉字后才有了文字记载.这使得土家族医学中的很多珍贵的诊疗技术湮没在历史中.近几十年来,国家大力扶持民族医药的发展,土家医学逐渐被世人所知,其独特的“三元学说”、形象生动的病症命名和分类、神秘的“梯玛”精神疗法、丰富多样的治疗手法无一不显示出土家族医学的魅力.笔者对近年来土家族诊疗技术研究的成果及发展进行总结为进一步搜集整理、应用发展土家族医学作贡献.

Tujia Minority Medicine has a long history. Before introducing Chinese characters, it was inherited orally therefore a lot of precious Tujia Minority Medicine diagnosis and treatment technologies have been lost. In recent decades, the national government vigorously supported the development of the minority medicine and Tujia Minority Medicine have been accepted by peo- ple.
